tsk, tsk, tsk. shame on me for going so long without posting something new!

since it has been so long since my last post, i will catch everyone up on the mundane happenings of my life.

i fixed my hair tonight for the first time in over a week. kind of sad, isn't it? but, i'm growing it out again...so it's scraggles are usually kept neatly behind caps and pigtails. oh, perfect pony! why do you tarry??

and for all of the curious readers, the last post WAS about a boy. a fantastic boy. mush, mush, mush. hopefully there will be much more to post about this boy in the future...but as it stands...things are FAR too undefined for me to post any kind of specifics.

while all of you lubbockites sleep soundly in your bed on saturday morning, i will be sitting through the remainder of whatever hurricane rita decides to spit at austin, tx. it's my first hurricane, and i'm going to be spending my first hurricane with becky and jib butterworth in my old apartment, my old bed, and my old room. i am kind of excited...just because it kind of feels like a snow day with the whole being stuck inside business. i think pearce and seth and lauren should come over too and we'll have a big hurricane rita slumber party. at least then we'd all know the others were safe.

i spent this past weekend in lubbock. there was a crazy mad dust storm that blew my water over into some guys lap...and also blew construction buckets all over the road. i thought for sure i was going to be whisked away in the invisible tornado that had suddenly appeared, but much to my surprise, i survived. i made it back to austin with a sweet yellow "leather" couch, two "leather" chairs, an ottoman, and all of my grandma's sweet 60's clothes...including a saaaaaweet fur collared red coat. i can't wait for winter now!

oh...and for anyone who loves fall as much as i, tomorrow is officially the first day of fall! whoopee!
