i had a genius idea today on my way home from work.

i decided that the whole way home, i was only going to listen to track 6 on whatever cd i pulled out from whatever cd case. it was almost perfect.

song one: tracings by john mayer.
song two: red, red wine by ub40.
song three: sweep me away by matthew perryman jones.
song four: move on this by pax217.
song five: i cheated. it was a chris tomlin song that i didn't feel like listening to...so i took it out. it's my game. i can change the rules if i want.
song six: the 59th street bridge song (feelin' groovy) by simon and garfunkel.
song seven: a weezer song i didn't feel like listening to.
song eight: a relient k song that i didn't feel like listening to...but i DID feel like listening to song 15 on this cd, and therefore the game ended...although maybe it should have ended with song five.

all in all, the odds were in my favor. 5 out of the 8 songs were actually songs that i really liked on each cd.

i also think that i have a thing for number 11 songs. maybe i will try that out tomorrow and see how they work out...
